Regula Mühlemann was born in Lucerne, Switzerland. She studied Classical Vocals at the Conservatory of Lucerne, tutored by professor Barbara Locher. In 2010 she completed her Master of Arts in Music Performance with distinction and full marks. The soprano singer gained her first opera onstage experiences as Maturina (Don Giovanni/G. Gazzaniga), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Papagena (The Magic Flute) and as Doralice in Il Trionfo dell’ Onore by A. Scarlatti. Recently she sang Giannetta in L' Elisir d'amore (Donizetti) at the Zurich Opera House and a Despina in "Così fan tutte" at the "Teatro la Fenice" in Venice. A particular highlight is her part as Ännchen in the feature film Hunter’s Bride, in which Regula Mühlemann appears for the first time on the silver screen.
