Britta Leonhardt (Costume Designer) learned the art of tailoring at Jil Sander’s and specialized in leather afterwards. She studied costume design at the University of Applied Science for Design in Hamburg. During her studies, she was already working as a costume assistant at the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg. As of 2000, Britta Leonhardt has been working as a freelance costume designer at the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg, the State Theatre Stuttgart, the Playhouse Graz, the Popular Theatre (Volkstheater) in Munich, and the Berlin State Opera House unter den Linden, among others. For the production of the movie Hunter’s Bride, Britta Leonhardt has for the first time designed costumes for the cinema.
